Diagnosis
Female scape yellowish-brown; mesoscutum and scutellum black with golden-blue tinges, mesoscutum with anterior 2/3 with raised reticulation, posterior 1/3 with engraved reticulation, scutellum with engraved and weak reticulation; femora yellowish-brown; female with first gastral tergite with weak striae in posterior ½, or with engraved, weak and large-meshed reticulation, male with 1st gastral tergite with micropunctures or smooth.
Distribution
Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Puerto Rico.
Biology
From eggs of Diaprepes abbreviatus (Coleoptera: Curculionidae); from Tetrastichus sp. (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) in eggs of citrus weevil; from eggs of Exopthalmus sp. (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) on citrus ; ex Exopthalmus similis . Probably a hyperparasitoid on Tetrastichus haitiensis (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae).
Similar species in Lucid key
vogti, but bennetti with gaster with first tergite either with weak striae or with very weak reticulation in posterior ½.
